Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR—Presiden Joko Widodo menerima delegasi Korea Selatan di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, pada Senin, 15 Mei 2023. Menteri Investasi Bahlil Lahadalia yang turut mendampingi Presiden menyampaikan bahwa pemerintah Indonesia dan Korea Selatan bersepakat untuk meningkatkan dan melanjutkan hubungan diplomatik kedua negara yang akan mencapai 50 tahun.
“Hubungan kedua negara sangat baik apalagi memulai di akhir tahun 2015 sampai dengan ke sini ditandai dengan berbagai macam kebijakan perekonomian salah satu di antaranya adalah menyangkut dengan perdagangan maupun investasi,” ucap Bahlil dalam keterangannya usai pertemuan.
Lebih lanjut, Bahlil menuturkan, kedua negara berpandangan bahwa neraca perdagangan harus terus ditingkatkan. Berkaitan dengan hal itu, Presiden Jokowi meminta agar akses ekspor sejumlah komoditas Indonesia ke Korea Selatan dapat terbuka, utamanya komoditas pangan.

“Tadi Bapak Presiden juga meminta agar akses ekspor komoditas-komoditas kita terutama komoditas pangan bisa dibuka, jeruk kemudian beberapa komoditas unggulan lain,” tutur Bahlil.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, kata Bahlil, Wakil Menteri Perdagangan, Industri, dan Energi (MoTIE) Korea Selatan juga menyampaikan bahwa tahun depan Indonesia akan menjadi negara Asia Tenggara pertama yang akan memproduksi ekosistem mobil listrik yang baterainya diproduksi langsung dari Indonesia.
“Jadi tahun depan kita sudah mempunyai produk baterai mobil yang kemarin satu tahun lalu dua tahun lalu _di-groundbreaking_ oleh Bapak Presiden di Karawang,” ujar Bahlil.

Dalam pertemuan tersebut, delegasi Korea Selatan yang hadir antara lain Menteri Pertanian, Pangan, dan Desa Chung Hwang-keun, Wakil Menteri Perdagangan, Industri, dan Energi Jang Youngjin, Duta Besar Korea Selatan untuk Indonesia Lee Sang-deok, dan sejumlah pemimpin perusahaan Korea Selatan.
Sementara itu, Presiden Jokowi didampingi oleh Menteri Koordinator Bidang Kemaritiman dan Investasi Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno, Menteri Investasi/Kepala Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal Bahlil Lahadalia, dan Duta Besar RI untuk Korea Selatan Gandi Sulistiyanto.
