Dianggap Mata-mata, Salah Satu Pimpinan KKB Mati Ditembak di Intan Jaya Papua Tengah
Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR–Salah satu pimpinan KKB, Joni Batak dikabarkan Tewas dalam aksi baku tembak Di Wilayah Intan Jaya, Papua Tengah.
Aksi saling tembak itu dibenarkan oleh Kapolda Papua Irjen Mathius Fakhiri. Joni tewas dibunuh oleh pimpinan KKB lainnya, Lewis Kogoya, usai dituduh sebagai mata-mata.
Beredar video di mana Joni Botak dianiaya dan ditembak. Termasuk dua orang anak buahnya.
“Joni Botak ditangkap, dianiaya dan ditembak kelompok KKB lainnya Senin (24/4) di Intan Jaya karena dituduh mata-mata,” kata Kapolda Irjen Pol Fakhiri dilansir Antara, Sabtu (29/4/2023).

Joni Botak merupakan pimpinan KKB dan masuk dalam daftar pencarian orang (DPO). Dia kerap kali membunuh warga sipil dan aparat keamanan.

Joni Botak Sempat Berupaya Masuk ke Tembagapura Sebelum Tewas Dibunuh
Sebelum dibunuh, Joni Botak sempat dilaporkan berupaya masuk ke Tembagapura, namun aparat keamanan sudah terlebih dahulu membangun pos-pos dititik yang diduga merupakan jalan setapak yang digunakan KKB masuk ke Tembagapura.
“Aparat keamanan sudah menutup akses masuk ke Tembagapura sehingga Joni Botak kembali ke Intan Jaya yang kemudian dibunuh oleh kelompok KKB pimpinan Lewis Kogoya,” kata Fakhiri.

Diketahui, Wilayah operasi Joni Botak di sekitar Tembagapura, yang merupakan daerah penambangan PT. Freeport hingga ke Intan Jaya.
Joni Botak baru muncul setelah terjadi kontak senjata di Jipabera, sekitar Kampung Aroanop pada 28 Februari 2020 dan terlibat penembakan yang menewaskan Bharatu Doni Priyanto serta penembakan terhadap Polsek Tembagapura.
KKB Pimpinan Joni Botak Sempat Tembak Sertu Robertus Hingga Tewas
Sebelumnya, KKB pimpinan Joni Botak sempat menembak anggota Satgas Yonif PR 305/TKR, Sertu Robertus Simbolon hingga tewas. Aksi penembakan itu terjadi di Kampung Titigi, Distrik Sugapa, Kabupaten Intan Jaya, Papua Tengah.
Danrem 173/PVB Brigjen TNI Sri Widodo mengatakan bahwa evakuasi jenazah anggota Satgas Yonif PR 305/TKR ke Timika menggunakan pesawat Smart Aviation dengan kode penerbangan PK-SNP pada Senin (10/4) lalu.

Esok harinya, jenazah Sertu Robertus Simbolon kemudian diterbangkan ke Jakarta dan selanjutnya akan dibawa ke ke Mako Yonif PR 305/TKR, Kabupaten Karawang, Jawa Barat melalui jalan darat. Setelah itu, jenazah diterbangkan ke Medan untuk dimakamkan di kampungnya.
“Saat ini jenazah disemayamkan di Makodim 1704/Mimika di Timika,” kata Brigjen TNI Sri Widodo melalui telepon selulernya, dilansir Antara, Senin (10/4/2023).
Korban terkena tembak pada Minggu (9/4) sore di bagian perut dan tangan. Sertu Robertus Simbolon meninggal dunia setibanya di Puskesmas Sugapa.

Ketika ditanya KKB kelompok mana yang menembak Sertu Robertus Simbolon, Danrem Biak yang wilayahnya meliputi Provinsi Papua dan Papua Tengah mengatakan bahwa mereka merupakan anak buah Joni Botak.
“Para pelaku memang anak buah Joni Botak yang saat ini dilaporkan sudah keluar dari Kabupaten Intan Jaya,” kata Danrem 173/PVB Brigjen TNI Sri Widodo.
Wilayah Korem 173/PVB meliputi Kabupaten Biak Numfor, Supiori, Kepulauan Yapen, dan Kabupaten Waropen yang masuk Provinsi Papua.
Selain itu, Kabupaten Nabire, Dogiyai, Deiyai, Paniai, Intan Jaya, Puncak, dan Kabupaten Puncak Jaya yang masuk Provinsi Papua Tengah.
