Tinjau Pelabuhan Merak, Kapolri Pastikan Siapkan Upaya Wujudkan Mudik Aman untuk Masyarakat
Merak, JURNAL TIPIKOR— Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo bersama dengan lintas sektoral terkait meninjau Pelabuhan Merak, untuk memastikan kesiapan arus mudik dan balik Hari Raya Idul Fitri tahun 2023.
Sigit menjelaskan, tinjauan ini dilakukan sebagai tindaklanjut dari Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) yang menginstruksikan kementerian/lembaga hingga Polri untuk bergerak sejak dini demi mewujudkan mudik yang aman dan nyaman bagi masyarakat.
“Sesuai arahan Pak Presiden kami di bawah jajaran Menko PMK diminta untuk lebih awal melakukan pengecekan dan perencanaan bersama. Sehingga kesiapan dalam menghadapi arus mudik dan balik tahun 2023 ini bisa lebih baik, karena memang ada peningkatan terhadap jumlah pemudik yang akan kembali,” kata Sigit di Pelabuhan Merak, Senin, 10 April 2023.

Dari hasil tinjauannya, Sigit mengungkapkan bahwa segala kesiapan telah dilakukan dengan baik. Mulai dari penambahan kapasitas rest area, tempat parkir dan pengaturan penggunaan Pelabuhan Ciwandan.
Pemerintah sendiri telah memutuskan untuk mengoperasionalkan Pelabuhan Ciwandan sebagai alternatif dari Pelabuhan Merak untuk masyarakat yang melakukan perjalanan mudik Lebaran 2023.
“Alhamdulillah tadi dari hasil pengecekan bersama, sudah ada beberapa penambahan terkait dengan kapasitas Rest Area, kapasitas tempat parkir dan juga ada pengaturan langsung antara Pelabuhan Ciwandan dan Pelabuhan Merak. Sehingga kemudian ini bisa bermanfaat mengurangi beban terhadap risiko kepadatan yang terjadi,” ujar Sigit.
Terkait operasional Pelabuhan Ciwandan, Sigit menginstruksikan kepada seluruh lintas sektoral serta jajarannya untuk melakukan sosialisasi sejak awal kepada masyarakat. Ia juga menyatakan, personel kepolisian harus memasang rambu lalu lintas untuk masyarakat yang mengarah ke Pelabuhan Ciwandan.
“Mungkin yang perlu saya sampaikan dan tambahkan agar terkait penggunaan Pelabuhan Ciwandan sebagai salah satu yang diaktifkan untuk kendaraan roda dua dan enam ini betul-betul disosialisasikan dari awal. Kemudian personel-personel disiapkan dengan lebih baik. Demikian juga rambu-rambu, sehingga masyarakat yang masih belum tahu arah Ciwandan kemana ini bisa tahu dan tidak terjadi crowded,” ucap Sigit.
Disisi lain, Sigit juga menyampaikan imbauan kepada masyarakat untuk bisa memilih alternatif perjalanan pada siang hari. Mengingat, pemudik yang pulang kampung melalui pelabuhan cenderung lebih banyak melakukan perjalanan pada malam hari.
Meski begitu, Sigit menekankan, seluruh personel Polri telah diinstruksikan untuk melakukan pengawalan dan penjagaan di sepanjang jalur perjalanan baik di Pulau Sumatera maupun Jawa, pada siang ataupun malam hari, demi mewujudkan mudik yang aman dan nyaman bagi seluruh masyarakat.
“Tentunya kami dari Polri akan mengawal apabila ada kerawanan-kerawanan di sepanjang jalan. Karena perjalanan siang itu mungkin menjadi pilihan yang kemudian beberapa waktu lainnya dipilih karena masalah risiko keamanan di jalan. Maka kami dari Polri akan mempersiapkan pengawalan baik yang memilih siang atau malam. Sehingga di jalan tidak ada gangguan kejahatan khususnya di jalur setelah turun dari Bakauheni dan mengarah ke tujuan masing-masing,” papar Sigit.
Selain itu, Sigit menyebut bahwa personel kepolisian juga akan melakukan pengecekan hingga pengamanan di seluruh jalur yang mengarah ke Pelabuhan Merak, Ciwandan, dan lainnya agar tidak terjadi gangguan keamanan yang bisa menghambat perjalanan mudik.
Demi mewujudkan mudik yang lebih baik, Sigit memastikan bahwa, pihaknya akan menyerap seluruh aspirasi dan masukan dari masyarakat. Oleh sebab itu, Sigit juga mengimbau kepada seluruh warga untuk bisa pro-aktif memberikan informasi-informasi terkait arus mudik dan balik Lebaran 2023.
“Saya minta seluruh jajaran melaksanakan pengecekan terkait masalah kerawanan apa yang menjadi keluhan masyarakat. Demikian juga kita harapkan juga masyarakat memberikan informasi. Sehingga kemudian terkait kerawanan apakah dari sisi ancaman pidana ataukah mungkin sisi jalur yang bisa diinformasikan ke kementerian terkait semuanya bisa terkendala,” tutur Sigit.
“Yang jelas mulai saat akan masuk ke Ciwandan sampai dengan nanti setelah turun apakah memilih Panjang atau Bakauheni saya minta seluruh jajaran Polri untuk mengawal dan mengamankan,” tegas Sigit mengakhiri.
