Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR — Anggota Komisi III DPR Fraksi PKB Mohammad Rano Alfath meyakini Kapolri Jenderal Polisi Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo untuk menjaga netralitas aparat menjelang Pemilu 2024. Menurutnya, Polri memiliki prinsip yang teguh dan akan tunduk kepada undang-undang, khususnya UU No. 2 Tahun 2002 tentang Kepolisian Republik Indonesia.
“Sebagai mitra yang bekerja dekat dengan Polri, saya meyakini sepenuhnya bahwa Pak Kapolri bisa secara penuh tanggung jawab dan profesional menjaga netralitas jajaran yang dipimpinnya. Komitmen ini juga tercermin dari surat telegram yang sudah ia terbitkan, sehingga memastikan bahwa pemilu berlangsung dengan adil dan bebas dari pengaruh yang tidak seharusnya,” jelasnya kepada wartawan, Senin (27/11/23).
Ia mengatakan, netralitas Polri merupakan hal yang krusial untuk memastikan keadilan dan kepercayaan publik dalam proses pemilu. Menurutnya netralitas tersebut dapat mempertahankan kepercayaan publik.
“Simpelnya, netralitas Polri adalah fondasi dari integritas pemilu. Netralitas aparat kepolisian membantu mempertahankan kepercayaan publik dalam proses demokrasi,” ujarnya.

Ditambahkannya, jika masyarakat percaya bahwa polisi bertindak dengan integritas dan netralitas, maka memperkuat kepercayaan kepada lembaga-lembaga demokratis dan hasil pemilihan.
Di sisi lain, ia memandang Operasi Mantap Brata yang diluncurkan Polri untuk pengamanan pemilu sudah cukup matang. Selain itu, baginya jumlah personel yang dilibatkan dalam Operasi Mantap Brata sudah sesuai, yakni sebanyak 261.695 personel dengan rincian 2.130 personel untuk Satgas Opspus dan 259.565 personel untuk Satgas Opsda.
“Hal ini menjadi bukti bahwa Pak Kapolri sangat memahami pentingnya strategi yang terarah dan efisien dalam menghadapi situasi yang kompleks selama periode pemilihan. Saya berharap agar semangat netralitas dan profesionalisme yang telah ditunjukkan oleh Polri selama proses pesta demokrasi ini tetap terjaga dalam berbagai aspek tugas dan tanggung jawab mereka. Dan terpenting, saya minta seluruh jajaran kepolisian implementasikan dengan baik arahan yang sudah diberikan Kapolri ini,” jelasnya.
