Kedua jenderal TNI-Polri berdarah Batak tersebut ialah Tolhas Sininta Nauli Basana Hutabarat (TSNB Hutabarat alias Cokky Hutabarat) dan RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak.
TSNB Hutabarat saat ini jenderal bintang tiga dengan pangkat Laksamana Madya TNI AU yang setara Letnan Jenderal di TNI AD dan Marsekal Madya di TNI AU.
Sebelumnya Cokky Hutabarat menjabat sebagai Deputi Bid. Pengkajian dan Penginderaan Setjen Wantannas.
Kini, promosi menduduki jabatan Sekretaris Jenderal Dewan Pertahanan Nasional (Sekjen Wantannas) sejak 17 November 2023. Promosi jabatan ini berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Panglima TNI Nomor Kep/1324/XI/2023 tanggal 17 November 2023 tentang pemberhentian dari dan pengangkatan dalam jabatan di lingkungan Tentara Nasional Indonesia.
Sama halnya dengan Ridwan Zulkarnain Panca Putra Simanjuntak atau RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak. Ia promosi jabatan dan naik pangkat menjadi Komisaris Jenderal (Komjen) Polisi.
Dengan bintang tiga di pundaknya, RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak kini menjabat sebagai Sekretaris Utama Lembaga Ketahanan Nasional (Sestama Lemhannas) RI.

Sebelumnya, Panca Putra Simanjuntak menjabat Direktur Penyidikan KPK (2018-2020), Widyaiswara Kepolisian Utama Tingkat I Sespim Lemdiklat Polri (2020), Kapolda Sulawesi Utara (2020-2021), dan Kapolda Sumatera Utara (2021-2023).

T.S.N.B. Hutabarat alias Cokky Hutabarat , lahir 11 Desember 1967 di Jakarta dan alumni SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta Timur.
T.S.N.B. Hutabarat lulusan Akademi Angkatan Laut (AAL) angkatan ke XXXV atau tahun 1989.
Sosoknya dikenal sebagai sang penjaga wilayah laut Indonesia yang memimpin pasukan TN AL di garda terdepan.
Ketika Indonesia tuan rumah KTT G20 di Bali 2022, Cokky Hutabarat sebagai komandan pengamanan wilayah laut atau Panglima Komando Armada (Pangkoarmada) II.

Sebelumnya, pada tahun 2016 Cokky Hutabarat juga dipercaya sebagai Dansatgas Multilateral Naval Exercise Komodo (MNEK) di Padang, Sumatera Barat.
Cokky Hutabarat dikenal ramah, cerdas namun tetap sederhana. Ia juga lulusan Defence Studies (S1) dan Maritime Studies (S2) di Australia.
Bukan hanya menimba ilmu di Australia, Cokky juga menyelesaikan pendidikan Systemic Strategic Thinking Management and Planning Course, Naval Postgraduate School di AS.
Selain itu, juga menyelesaian pendidikan International Security Studies Course, G.C. Marshall CSS, Garmisch, Jerman.
Serangkaian pendidikan militer lainnya juga yang telah diemban Cokky Hutabarat.
Setelah lulus dari AAL, ia sekolah di Dikspespa Artileri tahun 1992, lalu Principal Warfare Officer Course, Royal Navy dan Anti Submarine Warfare Course, Royal Navy tahun 1997.
Kemudian, mengikuti Diklapa II Koum Angkatan-13 tahun 1999. Sekolah Staf dan Komando tahun 2004, Joint Australian Command and Staff Course tahun 2006, Sesko TNI tahun 2012 dan selanjutnya Maritime Component Commander Course di Pearl Harbour tahun 2015.
