Sebanyak 466 Polisi RW Diterjunkan Polres Batu Memperkuat Bhabinkamtibmas
Hal itu seperti disampaikan oleh Kapolres Batu, Akbp Oskar Syamsuddi, S.I.K., M.T. melalui Wakapolres Batu Kompol Jeni Al Jauza usai meluncurkan 466 personel Polisi RW di Batu, Rabu (17/5) yang lalu.
Kompol Jeni Al Jauza mengatakan personel yang ditugaskan ke tingkat RW di setiap wilayah di Kota Batu akan memperkuat Bhabinkamtibmas yang sudah ada di masing – masing desa atau kelurahan.
“Polisi RW ini nanti akan memback up Bhabinkamtibmas di masing-masing desa atau kelurahan yang ada, untuk mendeteksi dini persoalan yang ada di lingkungan masyarakat,” kata Kompol Jeni

Untuk perwakilan Forkopimda dan seluruh anggota yang terlibat Polisi RW, Wakapolres Batu itu menyebut personel Polres Batu diberikan amanah sebagai Polisi RW sebanyak 466 orang.
“Mereka akan disebar di seluruh desa dan kecamatan di wilayah kota Batu dan Kab Malang khususnya Kecamatan Pujon, Ngantang dan Kasembon yang merupakan wilayah hukum Polres Batu,” tambah Kompol Jeni.
Untuk itu, ia berharap adanya Polisi RW dapat meningkatkan kembali kepercayaan masyarakat kepada Polisi .
“Polisi akan mengedepankan upaya preemtif dalam mewujudkan stabilitas keamanan dalam negeri. Semua anggota Polri dari semua fungsi melaksanakan tugas kamtibmas di tingkat RWb tanggung jawab sebagai pembina,” ungkapnya.

Dalam pelaksanaa tugasnya nanti lanjut Kompol Jeni, Polisi RW juga senantiasa mendengarkan keluhan masyarakat dan mencari solusi di setiap permasalahan yang terjadi di lapangan.
“Problem solving dan fungsi-fungsi pencegahan lebih dikedepankan dalam pembentukan Polisi RW,” ujar Kompol Jeni.
Ia juga menyebut, keberadaan Bhabinkamtibmas yang mempunyai ruang lingkup desa/kelurahan yang terlalu besar diharapkan akan terbantu dengan adanya Polisi RW.
“Diharapkan dengan adanya Polisi RW, setiap permasalahan di masyarakat dapat tertangani dengan cepat,” tandasnya.

Wakapolres Batu itu memaparkan Polisi RW dibentuk juga untuk mendeteksi dini kriminalitas di masyarakat khususnya kalangan remaja hingga masalah sosial di lingkungan RW.
“Melalui program ini, diharapkan keberadaan Polisi RW agar bisa berkolaborasi, duduk bersama dan peduli bersama terhadap berbagai fenomena masalah sosial yang dirasakan langsung masyarakat,” harapnya.
Ia menuturkan, Polisi RW bisa berkolaborasi dengan ketua RW, Kepala Desa, Lurah, Babinsa dan Bhabinkamtibmas untuk membangun kerukunan sesama tetangga serta membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan sehari -hari yang ada di masyarakat.
Selain itu lanjut Kompol Jeni, Polisi RW juga memberikan kesempatan untuk saling memahami akan layanan yang dibutuhkan atau diperlukan.

“Polisi RW membuka peluang untuk bekerja dan bersama – sama komunitas berusaha untuk mengendalikan masalah, yang terdapat di dalam komunitas dan menerapkan prinsip Community Policing, restorative dan akuntabilitas,” tegasnya.
Mantan Penum Subid Penmas Bidhumas Polda Jatim ini juga meminta Polisi RW supaya memulai interaksi yang konsisten dengan masyarakat untuk membangun kembali kepercayaan masyarakat kepada Polri/Trust Building.
“Mari kita wujudkan dan kita laksanakan bersama tugas Polisi RW guna terciptanya situasi kamtibmas yang aman dan kondusif di wilayah hukum Polres Batu.,” pungkasnya. Tetap Selalu Menjaga Prokes 6 M. (Red-Humas)
