JURNAL TIPIKOR – Sektor industri di Jawa Barat kembali menghadapi tantangan berat dengan terpaksa berhentinya produksi di lima pabrik yang tersebar di wilayah Bekasi, Cimahi, dan Garut.
Dilansir dari Solusi Berita, tertanggal 1 Maret 2025 ada 5 Pabrik yang melakukan PHK besar-besaran.
Kelima pabrik yang gulung tikar adalah PT Sanken Indonesia, PT Yamaha Music Product Asia, dan PT Tokai Kagu di Kabupaten Bekasi, PT Danbi Internasional di Garut, serta PT Bapintri di Kota Cimahi. Firman menjelaskan bahwa penyebab utama penutupan ini beragam, mulai dari krisis ekonomi global hingga dampak berkepanjangan pandemi Covid-19.
Dampak dari kondisi ini adalah ribuan karyawan yang harus dirumahkan, menambah daftar panjang permasalahan ketenagakerjaan di provinsi ini.
Menurut Kepala Bidang Hubungan Industrial Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi (Disnakertrans) Jawa Barat, Firman Desa, dua dari lima pabrik tersebut direncanakan akan resmi menutup operasionalnya pada tahun 2025. “Kondisi ini sangat memprihatinkan, terutama bagi para pekerja yang kehilangan mata pencaharian mereka,” ujar Firman Desa kepada awak media
Tren penutupan pabrik dan peningkatan angka Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja (PHK) ini menjadi sinyal peringatan serius bagi kondisi industri di Jawa Barat. Sektor yang selama ini menjadi salah satu pilar ekonomi daerah ini, kini harus berjuang keras menghadapi dampak ekonomi global yang masih berlanjut.
Faktor-faktor Penyebab
1. Tekanan Ekonomi Global: Ketidakstabilan ekonomi global, termasuk fluktuasi harga bahan baku dan penurunan permintaan pasar, menjadi faktor utama yang mempengaruhi keberlangsungan operasional pabrik-pabrik tersebut.
2. Persaingan Pasar: Persaingan yang semakin ketat, baik di pasar domestik maupun internasional, memaksa perusahaan untuk terus berinovasi dan efisien. Namun, tidak semua perusahaan mampu bertahan dalam kondisi ini.
3. Dampak Pandemi: Meskipun pandemi COVID-19 telah berlalu, dampaknya masih dirasakan oleh banyak sektor industri. Perubahan pola konsumsi dan gangguan rantai pasok menjadi tantangan yang belum sepenuhnya teratasi.
Upaya Pemerintah
Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat melalui Disnakertrans menyatakan akan terus berupaya untuk memfasilitasi dialog antara pengusaha dan pekerja, serta memberikan pelatihan dan bantuan bagi para pekerja yang terkena PHK. “Kami akan terus berkoordinasi dengan berbagai pihak untuk mencari solusi terbaik dalam menghadapi situasi ini,” tambah Firman Desa.

Penutupan pabrik-pabrik ini tidak hanya berdampak pada ribuan karyawan yang kehilangan pekerjaan, tetapi juga pada perekonomian daerah secara keseluruhan.
Dampak berantai seperti penurunan daya beli masyarakat dan potensi peningkatan angka pengangguran menjadi kekhawatiran yang perlu segera diatasi.
