Ternyata motor pertama Honda sudah rangkaeSAF dirakit dan dijual di Indonesia 1971 yang lalu disebut nangka.
Motor legendaris bermesin 90 cc ini dijuluki biji nangka karena tangkinya seperti biji nangka tersebut.
Adapun yang motor pertama Honda yang dirakit dan dijual di Indonesia yaitu Honda S90Z.

Produksi pertama kali 90Z mulai pada 1971 hingga 1975, pada tahun pertamanya diproduksi sebanyak 1.500 unit.
Rangka atau sasis sudah seperti model eSAF tersusun dari pelat yang dipres sehingga cukup kuat.
eSAF singkatan dari enhanced Smart Architecture Frame, yang kira-kira artinya rangka arsitektur cerdas yang disempurnakan.
Sebenarnya ada yang lebih tua lagi yaitu generasi S90 yang rangkanya sudah model seperti eSAF.
Honda S90 sebagai motor pertama Honda yang dijual di Indonesia namun belum dirakit disini.
Honda S90Z bersama Marc Marquez
Dijual di Indonesia sejak 1964 hingga 1969 kala itu dijual Federal Motor yang kini bernama Astra Honda Motor (AHM).
Masih diimpor secara utuh ke Tanah Air hingga periode 1969.
Desainnya unik sebagai motor ‘batangan’ lantaran konfigurasi mesinnya tiduran seperti motor bebek.
Dapur pacunya menggunakan mesin OHC pendingin udara 1 silinder kapasitas silinder 90 cc.
Transmisi manual empat percepatan diklaim power maksimum mencapai 8 hp dan torsi maksimal 6,2 Nm.
S90 punya aura klasik serba bulat dengan paduan sepatbor bermaterial besi bewarna krom.

Dilengkapi lubang kunci di bawah tangki, sedangkan tangkinya dilapisi karet dan pelat krom.
Antara S90 dan S90Z tidak ada perbedaan signifikan hanya kepada detail-detail kecil yang memberikan kesan berbeda.
Pertama, bentuk lampu S90 menyatu dengan spidometer, sedangkan S90Z terpisah.
Kedua, bentuk tangki S90Z lebih agresif, tidak lagi dilapis karet dan pelat hanya memakai pelat krom keseluruhan.
Kedua motor ini hadir dengan beragam pilihan warna namun yang mudah ditemukan sampai sekarang merah dan biru.

Namun masih ada warna lain pada S90 dan S90Z yakni hitam dan putih yang tergolong langka dan jarang ditemukan sekarang.
