BELU, jurnaltipikor.com – Setelah Atasi Krisis Listrik dan Air Bersih, Kapolres Bersama PC Bhayangkari Belu Ajari Warga Fohomea Cara Bercocok Tanam Hidroponik.
Bulan Juli tahun 2023 menjadi bulan bersejarah dan berkah tersendiri bagi warga Fohomea, RT.31, kelurahan Kota Atambua, kabupaten Belu.
Lewat tangan dingin Kapolres Belu, AKBP Richo Nataldo Devallas Simanjuntak, S.I.K, mimpi dan harapan warga Fohomea selama 15 tahun untuk menikmati air bersih dan layanan listrik selama 24 jam bakal terwujud.
Tak hanya itu, warga yang tinggal di perbukitan ini juga mendapat pelatihan secara cuma-cuma cara menaman secara hidroponik.
Kegiatan pelatihan hidroponik yang dilaksanakan pada jumat (28/7/2023) kemarin, mengambil lokasi di pekarangan pangan lestari (P2L) Bhayangkari cabang Belu yang berada di belakang rumah jabatan Kapolres Belu.
Dari pantauan Humas, masyarakat yang hadir diberikan metode pelatihan antara lain pengenalan hidroponik secara umum seperti cara membuat instalasi sistem wick, semai, membuat larutan stock AB Mix, pindah tanam, dan standar oprasional (SOP) berkebun hidroponik.
MulaI 1 hingga 31 Agustus, Bupati Imbau Masyarakat Pasang Bendera dan Umbul-Umbul.
Pelatihan ini dihadiri dan diajari langsung oleh Kapolres Belu, AKBP Richo Nataldo Devallas Simanjuntak, S.I.K, Ketua Bhayangkari Cabang Belu, Ny.Vonny Richo Simanjuntak serta seksi kebudayaan urusan lingkungan hidup.
Selain mengikuti pelatihan, masyarakat juga meninjau tanaman sayur pokcay (sawi sendok) milik pengurus Bhayangkari Belu yang ditanam secara hdiroponik dengan sistem bertingkat dengan memanfaatkan pipa paralon.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Kapolres Belu mengatakan, kegiatan tersebut bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat agar beralih ke pertanian hidroponik yang lebih murah, cepat dan ramah lingkungan.
“Seperti yanga sudah Saya sampaikan pada jumat curhat pagi tadi, Listrik dan air kalau sudah masuk, tinggal satu lagi yakni semangat. Karena tujuan kita hadirkan listrik dan air bersih ini salah satunya supaya bapak ibu bisa semangat dan lebih mudah bekerja untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari. Dengan bercocok tanam, menanam sayur-sayuran, umbi-umbian, lombok, tomat dan sebagainya”ungkap Kapolres Belu.
“Dan sistem Hidroponik ini sangat banyak manfaatnya karena dia tidak membutuhkan lahan yang luas, bisa ditanam kapan saja dan tanamannya bisa tumbuh cepat bila kita awasi dan kelola dengan tepat. Jadi nanti setelah dapat pelatihan ini, Saya mau bapak ibu bisa beralih ke sistim hidroponik ini untuk menanam sayur mayur, lombok, buah-buahan dan lain-lain”lanjut Kapolres Belu.
Usai mengikuti pelatihan menanam secara periodik, masyarakat fohomea juga membawa pulang sayur pakcoy hasil dari pekarangan pangan lestari (P2L) Bhayangkari cabang Belu
