Serang, JURNAL TIPIKOR–Dalam rangka memperingati hari buruh sedunia, Polres Serang Polda Banten melaksanakan pengamanan pemberangkatan masa aksi buruh dari federasi serikat buruh Kabupaten Serang dari Kawasan Industri Modern Cikande menuju ke Istana Merdeka Jakarta pada Senin (01/05) pukul 08.00 Wib.
Kapolres Serang AKBP Yudha Satria melalui Kabag Ops Polres Serang AKP Joko Pituturno membenarkan kejadian tersebut. “Hari ini Polres Serang mengamankan pemberangkatan massa aksi buruh dari Federasi Serikat Buruh Kabupaten Serang menuju Istana Merdeka, yang akan menyampaikan aspirasi ke Gedung DPR RI Senayan Jakarta,” kata Joko.
Kemudian Joko menjelaskan bahwa pihaknya menurunkan sebanyak 80 personel. “Polres Serang menurunkan sebanyak kurang lebih 80 personel gabungan baik dari Polres Serang dan Polsek-Polsek jajaran untuk mengamankan pemberangkatan massa buruh,” ujar Joko.

Terakhir Joko mengatakan bahwa hal ini bertujuan untuk mengantisipasi gangguan keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (Kamtibmas). “Personel akan ditempatkan di beberapa titik kumpul maupun jalur untuk melaksanakan pengamanan dan pengaturan arus lalulintas yang dilintasi guna mengantisipasi terjadinya kemacetan, dan gangguan Kamtibmas,” tutupnya.
