“Ketika seorang siswa SMK lulus misalnya, mereka bingung kerja atau mereka berkata saya tidak mampu untuk kuliah. Pernyataan seperti itu sebetulnya kegagalan guru dalam menanamkan motivasi kepada siswa. Kegagalan guru adalah kegagalan pemerintah,” disampaikan Upiyadi Muslich, SH. MH., Pengamat Pemerintah Provinsi Banten di kediamannya, Serang, Sabtu (29/4)
Menurutnya pengelolaan pendidikan harus memiliki muatan motivasi untuk para siswa. Apabila lulusan SMK bingung mencari kerja atau melanjutkan kuliah, itu pertanda mereka kurang motivasi. Dengan demikian menurut mantan Anggota DPRD Provinsi Banten ini, berarti kegagalan pendidikan adalah kegagalan pemerintah dalam mengelola pendidikan di daerahnya.

Seharusnya pemimpin harus memerhatikan segala aspek di dalam tubuh pemerintah itu, bukan sekedar melihat bahwa suatu sistem sudah berjalan.
“Sepintar apapun kalau cuma menerima laporan di belakang meja, tidak akan bisa berjalan dengan cara seperti itu. Setiap komponen harus diperiksa, jangan dilihat sistemnya saja yang berjalan. Tetapi lihat setiap komponen, mana yang rusak harus diperbaiki. Lihat satu per satu,” tegasnya kepada media.
Bahkan menurutnya, selama ini Pemprov Banten hanya mengandalkan data kemiskinan dari pusat saja. Seharusnya Pemprov Banten punya data internal dan sekaligus merencanakan agenda untuk kesejahteraan masyakarat.
“Pemerintah harus punya server sendiri untuk menyimpan data internal berkaitan dengan kondisi masyarakat Banten dan itu harus terus update. Sedetik orang bisa kaya dan sedetik bisa miskin. Jadi seluruh perangkat dari mulai desa harus terus memantau perkembangan ekonomi individu di masyarakat,” jelas Dosen Fakultas Hukum Universitas Mathla’ul Anwar tersebut.
