JAKARTA, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Kejaksaan Agung (Kejagung) telah mencekal dua petinggi PT Sugar Group Companies (SGC), Purwanti Lee Cauhoul dan Gunawan Yusuf, untuk bepergian ke luar negeri sejak April 2025.
Pencekalan ini terkait dengan penyidikan kasus Tindak Pidana Pencucian Uang (TPPU) yang menyeret mantan pejabat Mahkamah Agung (MA), Zarof Ricar.
Kepala Pusat Penerangan Hukum Kejagung, Anang Supriatna, mengonfirmasi bahwa Purwanti dan Gunawan telah dicekal dan diperiksa sebagai saksi dalam kasus TPPU atas nama Zarof Ricar.
“Menurut info penyidik, yang bersangkutan sudah dicekal dan sudah diperiksa sebagai saksi beberapa hari lalu dalam kasus TPPU atas nama Zarof Ricar,” ujar Anang kepada wartawan di Jakarta pada Sabtu.
Secara terpisah, Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Direktur Jenderal Imigrasi, Yuldi Yusman, membenarkan telah terjadi pencekalan terhadap Purwanti dan Gunawan atas permintaan Kejagung. “Pencekalan telah dilakukan sejak 23 April 2025 hingga 23 Oktober 2025,” tambah Yuldi.
Kasus ini berawal dari pengakuan Zarof Ricar yang pernah menerima uang sebesar Rp50 miliar untuk mengurus perkara perdata terkait kasus gula Marubeni.
Saat menjadi saksi mahkota dalam kasus dugaan pemufakatan jahat dan gratifikasi, Zarof mengungkapkan bahwa uang tersebut diterimanya untuk memenangkan Sugar Group Company dalam kasus gula.
“Ini uang yang paling besar yang saya terima,” ujar Zarof Ricar dalam sidang pemeriksaan saksi mahkota di Pengadilan Tindak Pidana Korupsi (Tipikor) Jakarta pada Rabu (7/5).

Meskipun demikian, Zarof mengaku lupa apakah perusahaan yang memberikan uang tersebut adalah pihak penggugat atau tergugat, serta rentang waktu pasti perkara tersebut, hanya mengingat kejadiannya antara tahun 2016 hingga 2018.
Ia meyakini bahwa perusahaan tersebut akan memenangkan kasasi di MA setelah mengetahui rekam jejaknya dalam perkara gula.
Zarof Ricar sendiri telah terjerat sebagai terdakwa dalam kasus dugaan suap dan gratifikasi. Pengadilan Tinggi DKI Jakarta telah memperberat vonisnya menjadi 18 tahun penjara dengan pidana denda Rp1 miliar, subsider 6 bulan kurungan
Selain itu, uang sebesar Rp915 miliar dan emas 51 kilogram yang disita dari Zarof telah dirampas untuk negara. Kejagung juga telah menetapkan Zarof sebagai tersangka kasus dugaan TPPU terpisah.
