Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Wali Kota Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, menyampaikan tiga arahan utama kepada Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) dalam upaya menjaga ketertiban, keamanan, dan wibawa Kota Bandung.
Arahan ini disampaikan saat serah terima jabatan Kepala Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kota Bandung dari Rasdian Setiadi kepada Bambang Sukardi di Kantor Satpol PP Kota Bandung Jalan Martanegara, Rabu 18 Juni 2025.
Ia menuturkan pentingnya pengamanan penuh selama 24 jam di kawasan Teras Cihampelas yang saat ini tengah menjalani proses revitalisasi. Kawasan tersebut rentan terhadap potensi pelanggaran hukum dan memerlukan perhatian khusus.
“Pastikan tim pengamanan terdiri dari personel yang memadai dan menjalankan tugas secara manusiawi. Tugas kita adalah menjaga tempat ini tetap bersih dan aman. Ini menjadi tanggung jawab besar Satpol PP,” tegas Farhan.

Lebih lanjut, Satpol PP diminta menjadi garda terdepan dalam penegakan Peraturan Daerah (Perda) Kota Bandung, khususnya dalam memberantas peredaran minuman beralkohol ilegal dan obat keras tanpa izin.
“Kita harus berkoordinasi erat dengan TNI dan Polri. Sebagai bagian dari sistem pertahanan dan ketertiban negara, kita tidak bisa bekerja sendiri,” ujarnya.
Farhan juga memerintahkan agar seluruh anggota Satpol PP yang bertugas di wilayah melakukan pembinaan masyarakat, deteksi dini potensi pelanggaran, dan pencegahan sebelum hal-hal negatif berkembang lebih jauh.
“Jalin komunikasi yang baik di setiap wilayah. Kematangan organisasi dan kualitas pelayanan adalah kunci. Jadilah institusi yang disegani dan dicintai masyarakat,” ucapnya.
Ia pun mengingatkan seluruh personel Satpol PP bahwa seragam adalah simbol tanggung jawab, bukan kekuasaan.
“Jangan pernah salahgunakan kewenangan. Jadikan wewenang sebagai amanah,” pintanya.
Di samping itu, merespon pengungkapan kasus kasino ilegal di Jalan Ahmad Yani, Farhan mengapresiasi kinerja kepolisian dan menekankan pentingnya deteksi dini terhadap potensi kejahatan lain yang lebih serius, termasuk terorisme.
“Kita harus siap menjadi bagian utama dalam mendeteksi dan mencegah ancaman terorisme di tingkat masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, kami memohon dukungan TNI dan Polri untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pembinaan bagi anggota Satpol PP,” beber Farhan.

Ia mengajak seluruh jajaran Satpol PP untuk terus mengabdi secara profesional, kolaboratif, dan berorientasi pada pelayanan prima bagi masyarakat.
