Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Dinas Ketenagakerjaan (Disnaker) Kota Bandung berupaya meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) dan penciptaan peluang kerja baru. Upaya itu merupakan bagian dari strategi menekan angka pengangguran.
Kepala Dinas Ketenagakerjaan Kota Bandung, Andri Darusman menyampaikan, berbagai program telah dijalankan agar masyarakat bisa bekerja mandiri ataupun memenuhi kebutuhan industri saat ini.
“Melalui pelatihan kewirausahaan, pelatihan berbasis kompetensi, hingga program padat karya, kami ingin mendorong warga untuk bisa bekerja atau berwirausaha secara mandiri. Kami juga menyiapkan program pemagangan dan uji kompetensi agar lulusan pelatihan benar-benar siap masuk ke dunia kerja,” ujar Andri pada Siaran Bersama Radio Sonata, Kamis, 5 Juni 2025.

Ia menuturkan, pelatihan kewirausahaan yang digelar Disnaker mencakup berbagai bidang yang aplikatif dan berbasis minat masyarakat. Di antaranya, pelatihan menjahit, barista, pastry, tata rias pengantin, dan membatik.
“Pelatihan-pelatihan ini memungkinkan peserta langsung memulai usaha dengan modal kecil, tapi berpotensi besar. Selain keterampilan teknis, mereka juga dibekali cara menyusun rencana bisnis sederhana,” tambahnya.
Disnaker juga menjalankan program padat karya bagi warga yang termasuk pengangguran dan setengah pengangguran.
Peserta program diberi pekerjaan sementara, seperti membersihkan lingkungan, mengolah sampah, hingga memperbaiki infrastruktur.
“Program ini bukan hanya memberi penghasilan sementara, tapi juga meningkatkan akses masyarakat terhadap aktivitas produktif. Ini adalah bentuk nyata kehadiran pemerintah bagi warga yang rentan,” jelasnya.
Jika ingin mengikuti program ini bisa mendaftar melalui kelurahan, kecamatan, atau mengakses informasi di website dan media sosial Disnaker.
“Seleksi dilakukan berdasarkan kondisi ekonomi dan kesiapan kerja peserta,” katanya.

Sedangkan untuk menjawab tantangan kesenjangan antara dunia kerja dan kompetensi pencari kerja, Disnaker juga mengembangkan pelatihan berbasis kompetensi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan nyata di lapangan.
“Kami bekerja sama dengan lembaga pelatihan kerja dan perusahaan untuk menyelenggarakan pemagangan. Dengan begitu, peserta bisa belajar langsung dari dunia kerja,” ungkap Andri.
Uji kompetensi dilakukan oleh lembaga terakreditasi dan mengacu pada standar nasional dan internasional.
“Sertifikasi ini sangat penting agar keterampilan para peserta diakui secara resmi. Ini menjadi modal kuat untuk melamar kerja, baik di sektor formal maupun informal,” tuturnya.(yan/red)
