Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Kepala Kantor Komunikasi Kepresidenan (PCO) Hasan Nasbi menilai, insiden pengiriman paket berisi kepala babi kepada media Tempo tidak perlu dibesarkan untuk menyebar ketakutan karena hal tersebut lah yang menjadi target peneror.
Hasan menjelaskan, maksud dari tanggapannya untuk meminta Fransisca memasak isi dari paket tersebut merupakan respons agar ketakutan yang ingin ditujukan peneror kepada media dan masyarakat tidak tercapai.
“Saya menyempurnakan respon itu ya, sekalian aja kan? Kalau orang kirim (paket) itu sebagai teror, ternyata bahan makanan dia dimasak aja lah. Peneror kan pasti stres kalau bahan kiriman dia dimasak kan gitu,” kata Hasan dalam keterangan tertulis kepada media di Jakarta, Sabtu (22/3/2025)
Hasan menjelaskan, pernyataannya itu sejalan dengan sikap yang ditampilkan wartawan Tempo yang dikirimi paket, Fransisca, di media sosial, yang terlihat tidak gentar akan teror yang dialamatkan kepadanya.
Menurut Hasan, tujuan peneror mengirimkan paket itu adalah untuk menebar ketakutan, sehingga kemudian akan dibesar-besarkan oleh banyak pihak.
“Jangan sampai kita justru ikut membesar-besarkan ketakutan, karena itu target si peneror. Kita harus mengecilkan dia. Menurut saya cara yang paling tepat untuk mengecilkan peneror itu ya dimasak aja lah kirimannya dia kan gitu,” tambah Hasan.
Terkait dengan kebebasan pers, Hasan juga menekankan bahwa hingga kini tidak ada satu pun media atau jurnalis yang dilaporkan karena sikap kritis terhadap pemerintah.
Hasan menilai itu lah yang menjadi bukti nyata bahwa pemerintah tidak mengekang kebebasan pers. Presiden Prabowo Subianto pun tidak membahas secara khusus mengenai insiden Tempo dan kebebasan pers karena dinilai tidak ada masalah.
“Enggak ada yang dilarang masuk Istana gara-gara kritis. Enggak ada. Enggak ada yang dilarang liputan misalnya di kantor-kantor pemerintahan gara-gara kritis. Enggak ada. Jadi kalau bagi pemerintah itu sudah bukti nyata (mendukung kebebasan pers),” katanya.
Sebelumnya, Dewan Pers meminta pelaku teror berupa pengiriman kepala babi yang dikirimkan ke kantor Tempo dan ditujukan kepada jurnalis Francisca Christy Rosana pada Kamis (20/3) diusut hingga tuntas agar kejadian serupa tidak terulang.
“Terkait peristiwa tersebut Dewan Pers meminta agar aparat penegak hukum mengusut tuntas pelaku teror. Kenapa? Karena jika dibiarkan, ancaman dan teror seperti ini akan terus berulang,” ucap Ketua Dewan Pers Ninik Rahayu dalam konferensi pers di Jakarta, Jumat (22/3/2024)
