Menurut Ema, pasar yang dikelola oleh Pemkot Bandung merupakan bagian organisasi yang harus mengikuti aturan. Pengelola pasar bisa bekerja sama dengan vendor bahkan koordinasi dengan Dinas Lingkungan Hidup.
“Perumda Pasar bagian organisasi pemerintahan, mereka harus berfikir lebih baik. Secara teknis mau kerja sama dengan vendor, atau secara intensif dengan DLH, kita sudah ingatkan. Jadi sampah bagian daripada tugas utama yang harus ditangani,” tegasnya.

Disamping itu, Ema mengatakan saat ini memasuki musim penghujan, sehingga masyarakat diimbau untuk mengelola sampah jangan sampai terjadi banjir.
“Kalau itu terjadi tumpukan, jelas akan merusak estetika sehingga menimbulkan bau. Kalau bertumpuk di jalan itu akan menjadi potensi berserakan, kalau terbawa air hujan,” tuturnya. (ray)**
