Angka ini sama dengan inflasi Jawa Barat dan lebih baik dibandingkan nasional. Inflasi Jawa Barat sebesar 0,11 persen, sedangkan inflasi MtM nasional sebesar 0,19 persen.
Beberapa komoditi yang memberi andil inflasi dan deflasi pada bulan ini, di antaranya beras sebesar 0,21 persen, bensin sebesar 0,06 persen, rokok kretek filter sebesar 0,01 persen, daging ayam ras sebesar 0,01 persen, dan cabai rawit sebesar -0,01 persen.
Lalu bawang putih sebesar -0,01 persen, cabai merah sebesar -0,02 persen, minyak goreng sebesar -0,03 persen, bawang merah sebesar -0,05 persen, dan telur ayam ras sebesar -0,08 persen.

Inflasi tahun kalender (Januari-September) 2023 Kota Bandung pun mencapai 0,02 persen. Ini merupakan inflasi terendah jika dibandingkan dengan 7 kota besar di Jawa Barat.
Hal tersebut juga diakui Sekertaris Daerah Kota Bandung, Ema Sumarna. Ia menyatakan, Kota Bandung telah berhasil menangani permasalahan inflasi. Bahkan lebih rendah dibandingkan nasional.
“Inflasi kita bagus. Year on year (YoY) kita bagus, year to day kita juga bagus, bahkan deflasi. Month to month juga deflasi. Angka inflasi Kota Bandung itu berada di bawah angka nasional. Angkanya sangat terkendali,” ungkap Ema, Selasa 10 Oktober 2023.
Ia menyebutkan, ada beberapa upaya yang telah dilakukan Pemkot Bandung guna menstabilkan harga, salah satunya Operasi Pasar dan Pasar Murah.
“Operasi Pasar dan Pasar Murah itu rutin kita adakan untuk menjaga kestabilan harga. Ini diberlakukan di seluruh wilayah kecamatan Kota Bandung,” ucapnya.
Bahkan, tahun depan Pemkot Bandung akan menganggarkan sebanyak Rp2 miliar untuk subsidi ke Bulog demi menjaga kestabilan harga bahan pokok bagi masyarakat.
“Anggaran ini akan kita subsidi ke Bulog. Lalu Bulog akan membantu menyiapkan harga yang pasti di bawah harga pasar. Itu strategi kita yang akan terus dipertahankan,” ungkapnya.
Melalui upaya tersebut, Ema optimis inflasi Kota Bandung bisa terus terkendali dan harga kebutuhan pokok di Kota Bandung relatif stabil.
